We know this is an emotional time for the birth parents as well as for parents wishing to adopt.

Adoption Connection has been bringing babies together with adoptive families for over 50 years. We are more than an adoption agency, offering services beyond placement that help you fully understand your responsibilities, as we help prepare you for this exciting, emotional event that will impact you and the child for the rest of your lives.

Because of our years of experience and innovative programs, we have been involved in helping the Tennessee legislature create and pass adoption laws…laws that positively affect the child, the adoptive parents and the birth parents. Choosing Adoption Connection is one of the best choices you will ever make – aside from the choice to adopt.

Your Application and Home Study

Applications are accepted based on specific qualifications. A home study is required for every adoption, whether you adopt a baby from Adoption Connection or another child placement program. The home study involves joint and individual interviews, a home visit, letters of recommendation and verification of financial status. This study also helps prepare your family for the addition of a child. Once you are approved, the length of your wait depends on the needs of babies and the decisions of birth mothers.

Adoption Fee

Your fee is based on specific services provided. We will be happy to discuss our fee schedule with you.

Infertility Counseling

Adoption Connection offers this as an optional service.

Domestic and International Adoptions

We maintain relationships with agencies across the U.S. and are well-versed in the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children (ICPC). In addition, our staff has many years of experience working with international agencies.

Legal Help

Adoption Connection works closely with your family’s attorney to complete all legal requirements and make the adoption process as smooth as possible for both the birth parents and the adoptive parents.
